Occasional Care
Occasional Care Program
Children in our occasional care program are fully integrated within the preschool program and both indoor and outdoor learning environments. We support separation through stay and play visits with caregivers to develop a sense of safety and confidence in our space.
We support siblings to engage in shared learning experiences and for all children to learn and grow through lens of being, belonging and becoming. All children engage in a routine of both shared learning and eating. Our shared group times have a strong focus on music, storytelling and group games.

Occasional Care Sessions
Occasional Care is a Department for Education funded program which provides `take a break’ care for families with children from 18mths of age, not otherwise accessing early childhood programs.
This enables parents/caregivers to participate in activities, keep appointments, or have a break on an occasional basis rather than as a regular booking in a long day care. The occasional care program operates alongside and within the preschool program.
Occasional Care sessions are held on Tuesday and Wednesdays with both morning and afternoon sessions available. Bookings are secured in block of 5 weeks each term.
